THE GREAT MOUSE EAR SEARCH: Faffybelle Creations

It is time for another GREAT MOUSE EAR SEARCH!!!!   I found Faffybelle Creations on her Etsy Store and thought so many of her ears were just the cutest!  She uses some fabrics I had not seen which I loved because there can be a lot of copies and repeats when it comes to Mouse Ears and I love to find designs that are different and original!  She has designs for all ages (My tween daughter as seen above loves the DOD 2 Ears which would be perfect for Halloween time!)  She can also do custom made orders!   Seen below, you can see a pair of custom Pixie Dust Required Ears she made for me and the blog!  I love how even the back of them are pretty!!!
On a side note, can I just brag at how gorgeous my model and daughter is?
Kathleen, the head artist is very sweet and compassionate too!   So I know she carries what Disney is all about, which is always important to me in finding my artists!

HOW DID YOU GET INTO MAKING MOUSE EARS?
My family and I go to the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot every year. In 2015 I had the idea to make all the girls (my sisters and mom) ears. They came out so good my family encouraged me to sell them and Faffybelle Creations was born.

DO YOU HAND MAKE EVERYTHING?
All the ears, hair bows and bow ties are handmade, and most of the headbands are covered by hand. I have wonderful suppliers for fabric and decorations. Some of the decorations like my Bruce inspired ears where Bruce's head is on one ear and his tail on the other; I hand drew and cut out myself! Each tiny tooth was cut by hand, a labor of love that one!

WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR SELLING ITEM?
For a while it was my Giraffe Ears, then my Day of the Dead Ears and now it's Snow White and Belle. It varies!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ITEM TO MAKE AND WHY?
My favorite are the Snow White Ears. I absolutely love the design and the sparkle to them! They also take a bit of time to make so a lot of love goes into them!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME UP WITH NEW DESIGNS?
I have a book of designs I've drawn. I say I sketch about 3 designs weekly. And I always have new ones coming out from custom orders.

DO YOU HAVE ANY FUN OR TOUCHING CUSTOMER STORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US?
I have a customer who is now a good friend in Germany. If I had stock I'm sure she'd have some shares. She's been a wonderful customer and awesome to talk with. It's great that a friendship has grown from my business.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO GO TO DISNEY?
I go to Disney at least once a year. We are an annual pass family and love to vacation at Disney. We will do a one week trip yearly and if we are able to, a weekend trip here and there!

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU HAVE TO DO EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU VISIT DISNEY?

I have to ride Peter Pan! It's my favorite movie and ride! I love the idea of always keeping your inner child close at heart!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY MEMORY EVER?
My favorite memory was visiting Disney one on one with my mom before I got married. I didn't do a big bachelorette hoorah, I asked my mom to share a trip to Disney with me, by ourselves. It remains my favorite memory, you appreciate your parents so much more when you're an adult. It's an experience I'll cherish always.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER AND WHY?
Tinkerbell! She wears her feelings on her face and I can completely relate to that. She has a hard time juggling all those feelings at once, she's sassy and adventurous, and at the heart of things she means well; even when she messes up.

Make sure you visit her Etsy store at
