I am a HUGE fan of the Memory Maker! For those of you who do not know what that is, when you go on your Disney Vacation, you have the option to purchase a Memory Maker. It is pretty much a service linked to your account! You can get the Disney Photographers to take your pictures at tons of photo opportunities all over the parks, at select dining experiences, and it even takes ride pictures and videos!!!! You then get unlimited downloads of them all!
I recently had to call the Disney help desk for some help sorting some stuff out, and I got the best cast member ever who helped me to understand some awesome tips to getting the most out of your memory maker that I never heard before!!!!! Did you know you can get up to 74 days worth of pictures!?!?!? Here is how!
The Memory Maker and the Photo Pass are on two different timers. You have 30 days to download pictures from the Photo Pass Photographers onto your computer or phone from when the first picture is taken. Then once you activate the memory maker by either activating the pictures on your mobile device (by removing the watermark) or downloading onto your picture, you have 45 days to access them!
Day 1: start using the Disney Photo Pass Photographers.
Day 30: Download the pictures onto your computer
Days 31-45: Everytime you use a photo pass photographer, it still shows up in your Memory Maker! Just be sure to download/activate those right away!
I don't know about you, but when I learned this, my mind was blown! Being a Florida Resident, it makes perfect sense to use a 3 or 4 day Florida Resident pass and one Memory Maker within that time frame! Or if you are one of the people who like to book back to back trips, this is a great way to get the most use out of your money!!!!!!
