I am always searching for new and original Disney T-shirts. That is how I met Jenifer! She designs these Disney T-Shirts where she takes the silhouettes of a bunch of Disney characters and puts them together to create a new Disney image! This is my absolutely favorite Disney T-shirt I have!
Since initially contacting Jenifer about this shirt, she has become a very dear friend! She helped to design our Pixie Dust Required Car Decals, helped me create the logo for our Travel company (Ohana Adventures Travel), and created all kind of amazing Disney art for cars, walls, and shirts! HOW DID YOU GET INTO DESIGNING THESE AMAZING DISNEY SHIRTS?
We started with Disney Character inspired tutu dresses and summer weather safe costumes for our children to wear on an upcoming trip to Disney World. They were a ton of fun to make, and the kids got loads of compliments. We’d also made shirts that we gave them for Christmas to announce the trip that said “I’m going to Disney World!” with the month and year, and each of their favorite characters on them (My husband’s said “I’m paying for Disney World! Haha). Our friends and family loved them, and suggested making them for other families. It’s taken a couple years to acquire the proper equipment and materials, but we’re finally there, and absolutely LOVE every minute of it!
I SEE YOU ALSO MAKE DIFFERENT TYPES OF DECALS (WALL, CARS, ETC) AND COSTUMES! TELL US MORE ABOUT ALL OF THAT!
This past year we’ve started branching out into indoor and outdoor decals, in addition to our clothing and costumes. I love making the decals, we’ve sold them to people all over the world, and it’s so rewarding to get a photo or a note expressing the excitement and joy something we’ve made has brought to them. Most of the decals listed in our Etsy store are single color, but we do multi colored and layered as well, in all sizes. We also design logos, and cut the decals for businesses, horse trailers for ranches, and just about anything you can think of. We’re now working towards sublimation printing. That will allow us to make intricately designed decals and wraps for even more variety! The costumes started out all about our children. Our youngest daughter absolutely adores running around in princess dresses and costumes, she wears them more than regular clothes! The Disney Store is my favorite, non-small business place to shop, but when you’ve got a little girl who loves wearing princess dresses while chasing chickens around the farm, and a little boy that loves playing dress up, but all the boy costumes are long pants/sleeves, I had to get creative and come up with costumes that he could wear in the summer and still stay cool in, and dresses/outfits she could be her amazing self in, that I could wash and dry regularly without ruining. Our children truly are our inspiration behind all we do I enjoy the challenge of making new things, we carry several items now that stared out with someone asking “Can you make____?”. Just because you don’t see it in our store, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t ask!
DO YOU HAND MAKE EVERYTHING?
The only things we do not make by hand are the t-shirts themselves. We do have several distributors we order them from, and they are all preshrunk, heavy weight cotton, or cotton polyester blend. All the designs are cut, in house, from high grade vinyl, and applied with an industrial heat press. No Hobby Lobby iron on transfers or vinyl. We started out using a dress blank for the Wendy Darling dressing gown, but so many people were asking for longer lengths that I learned how to make them myself to accommodate the requests, I don’t like saying “No”, so now it’s hand made too! Everything from Christmas stockings, to circle skirts, and the little Peter Pan outfits are 100% hand made by me personally.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR SELLING ITEM?
Our all-time best selling item is our Frozen Inspired Olaf Tutu Dress. My goodness, that is one popular snowman!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ITEM TO MAKE AND WHY?
There are so many, it’s hard to decide! If I have to pick just one, I’d have to say Wendy’s dressing gown is my favorite. Even though it’s one of the most simple looking items, there’s just something whimsical about watching it go from a few yards of white fabric, to a sweet little robin’s egg blue dress ready to fly off to Neverland.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME UP WITH NEW DESIGNS?
There are probably 50 or more new ideas at any given time floating around in my head. I have several now that I’ve already tried out and loved, but just haven’t managed to get them in the store yet. I started making matching princess shirts for girls and their 18 inch dolls before Christmas. Maybe I’ll get those listed soon. We gave some as gifts and they were a big hit, made me so happy to see their little faces light up when they saw their favorite princess on shirts for themselves and their baby doll.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO GO TO DISNEY?
The first time I went to Disney World, I was 30 and had our fourth child 7 months previous. I dreaded the trip to be honest because I thought there would be nothing for me and the baby to do but sit around and wait on everyone else. I was so incredibly wrong, I didn’t experience a single moment of boredom, it was the best summer holiday of my life!! If there is such a thing as love at first visit, I was in it! That was in 2011, and we’ve been twice more since then, and are saving to go this year. We are officially Disney addicts, and that’s totally alright!

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU HAVE TO DO EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU VISIT DISNEY?
We have a family tradition where each of us gets a special Christmas ornament every year. So far we’ve each gotten three from Disney World. It’s like a treasure hunt for both the kids and us to find the perfect one to take home. One day our tree will be covered in the Disney memories we share with our children.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY MEMORY?
On our last visit, the kids dressed up as Peter, Wendy, and Tink for a day at the parks. All day the three of them were the center of attention everywhere we went, and they were just eating it up! At one point in the day, we’d just finished on Toy Story Mania, when a Green Army Man spotted them and got as excited as a non-talking cast member can get..” Tink” wasn’t having it, but he took “Peter” and “Wendy” by the hand and they “flew” all over. The kids were elated that they’d gotten such special attention, it just made their day, and the smile on my son’s face was priceless. Best moment ever!
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER AND WHY?

can you NOT love a character who’s lines were almost completely improvised by
the late, great, Robin Williams? Brilliant!
