THE GREAT MOUSE EAR SEARCH starring Mousing Around By Mel

So I have a little boy who is my mini me and he is crazy about Disney!   He has been wanting some mouse ears for a while, but they all have looked too girly for him!  In my quest for the best Mouse Ears out there, I came across MousingAroundByMel on Etsy because she makes the coolest snap back Mouse Ears!   When he saw these, he was beyond ecstatic over them!  I mean there was gasps and wide mouth and a huge giant smile kind of happy!

He loves how under the rim it even says Storm Trooper on his!   He says it adds magic and makes them cooler!  At first glance, we were both concerned the ears would stand up when he put the hat on, but let me tell you, PERFECT!!!!!   This is now his favorite hat!   As a mom, I have to say I really like the snap back style for kids (she makes girl designs like this too FYI!).  It stays on their head and more comfortable for the little girls who do not like to wear headbands!

She makes adorable headband style ones too!  I am totally in love with her Sweet Tooth Minnie Ears!   Me, being the girl who plans her trip around Disney Snacks, these are the perfect ears!  The fabric has Disney treats in it!  Mine are very comfortable as well!

WHERE DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA TO MOUSE EAR HATS?
I wanted to bring something different to the table and share my love and appreciation for Disney! With everything that I love with Disney, I wanted to portray it onto ears. 

WHAT GOT YOU INTO THE MOUSE EAR BUSINESS?
Honestly it's a hobby for the most part. I love to craft and more than anything I love creating things new and different. I was inspired to focus on ears based on a beautiful person on YouTube Charisma Star. She did a tutorial on mouse ears and I felt like I could do some for fun. I enjoyed doing them so much that I started going nuts (in a good way) and opened myself up to a whole new world of crafting ears.

WHICH IS YOUR MOST POPULAR PAIR OF EARS?
My most popular pairs of ears are:

WHICH PAIR OF EARS IS YOUR FAVORITE TO MAKE AND WHY?
My favorite pair of ears to make thus far are my Christmas Minnie ears with bells and lights. It's my favorite holiday, and it feels like decorating for Christmas every time I make them. 

DO YOU HAVE ANY CUSTOMER STORIES THAT STICK OUT IN YOUR MIND?
There was a customer from the UK who ordered a pair of Christmas ears and had her honeymoon at Disney world in Orlando, Florida.  It was special to create ears for her and seeing how much she enjoyed her first time going to Disney world.  She rocked the ears there and had a wonderful time there. 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO GO TO DISNEY?
I'm an annual passholder and I get go a lot. I live in Northern California,  however, I make time to get down there as much as I can. So far I've been about 18 times this year lol. It never gets old. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY MEMORY?
A very nice cast member gave me 2 ultimate fast passes for my friends and I to get on any ride, including the ones that don't have fast passes. It was my friends first time there and the cast member made it memorable. 

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO DO EVERY TIME YOU GO TO DISNEY?
The full effect of Disney for me includes at least: one ride, a churro, and a parade! After that I'm a very happy camper.

WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER AND WHY?
My favorite character is Goofy! I'm a goof for the most part and can relate to his goofiness lol.
