Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge: A Delicious Hidden Gem!

One of my good friends recently told me about a restaurant I had never heard of, so this past Saturday, we had to go check it out, and I had to share with you one of my new favorite places!!!

Whispering Canyon is a sit down restaurant inside of the Wilderness Lodge.   I think their prices are beyond reasonable for what you get!   If you are at Magic Kingdom for the day, you can easily take the ferry straight over as well!   You can make reservations, but we walked in, and only had to wait about 15 or so minutes!
They have a small waiting area with a few comfortable leather chairs and a table filled with Lincoln Logs, which was a hit with the younger kids!

As you can see, the prices were pretty amazing considering the most expensive thing was an All You Can Eat Skillet (that looked heavenly by the way) for $22.49!!

I was super pleased with the kids meal!  Seth got the Salmon which had rice, green beans (which were DELICIOUS!  I kept stealing them), a drink, and a cookie!   Tyler and Lillie both got the Mac and Cheese (which also came with green beans, cookie, and drink).   Chloe got the Chicken nuggets (she had fries, cookie, and drink).   All four kids were very happy!

I got the Applewood Smoked Turkey Sandwich and I have to say, I have been craving it since I left!!!!  It was smoked turkey, arugula, and this delicious cranberry mayonnaise (I know it sounds weird but you have to try it!) all on delicious toasted multi grain bread.  I got the Sweet Potato fries for my side, and I have to say, they were some of the best ones I have ever had!!!!  Jeremy got the Bacon Angus Cheeseburger and asked for Blue Cheese Crumbles to be added (they put them on the side) and he loved his entire meal too!  (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture, I was engrossed in my meal too much LOL)

The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing!  It was a very cozy cabin like setting.  The wait staff was super involved and HILARIOUS!!!!!    Our waiter, Najib, was the best!   He would not take the kids orders unless they used their manners and was constantly joking with everyone!   He had us laughing a lot!  Super helpful as well!  (If you know him, he wanted to see what I wrote, pass it on!!!)

One of the things the kids loved, any time you asked for Ketchup, they all screamed KETCHUP and every single ketchup bottle was brought to your table by the previous table.    All the kids in the restaurant were getting up to help each time!

After wards, we enjoyed the sights of the Wilderness Lodge, which is a very gorgeous resort if you have never seen it before!  Our kids LOVED all of the painted totem poles!

This is definitely someplace my family will go to many more times!!!    If you haven't been, you have got to try it!
