Halloween Fun at Fort Wilderness 2015

I wanted to post this yesterday, but we all had so much fun on Halloween this year, I needed a day to recover!   LOL!

This year, was honestly the most fun Halloween I think I have ever had!

My boyfriend and I went as Mickey & Minnie Mouse

Our kids went as Pocahontas, Hawk Eye (one of the Avengers), Maleficent, and Peter Pan

We drove over for the day to Fort Wilderness Campground.    The parking there was full, so we parked at Disney Springs and just took the bus over.  (You can also park at Wilderness Lodge and just take the boat over for future reference).    We got there early in case we needed to register the kids (we didnt) so we did some resort hopping and had lunch at Whispering Canyon (post coming soon!).

We missed the Golf Cart Parade sadly, but my friend, Jamie Franzini, got pictures for me to share with you!   IT LOOKED AMAZING!   She says she plans on this being a new tradition for her family too!

At Fort Wilderness, the campers decorate their sites and do trick or treating.   It was very safe and AMAZING at how into it some of them got!    I was fascinated the entire time.  My kids got so much candy (and GOOD CANDY!) that we will be on a sugar high through Christmas!  LOL.

Here are only a few pictures from my favorite sites of the night.

This one site did their entire theme around the Haunted Mansion!   WAS HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE!
Seth and I had to pose with the Hitch Hikers!

How did they even get this and where can I get one?

One Site had an entire graveyard of attractions that have passed on!   SUPER COOL!

There were a ton of really awesome Disney Inflatables!

This site had at least 70 different carved pumpkins!  (Artificial, which was a genius idea!)
Haunted Mansion Hitch Hikers!

Loved these!!!

Another cool inflatable, Maleficent had to pose with her dragon!

Fort Wilderness will definitely be an annual thing for our family!   Next year, we may try to rent a golf cart our-self ahead of time because there was SO MUCH we didn't get to see!

We ended the night watching Hocus Pocus (Although I admit, we left early because we were all worn out LOL) on the Big Outdoor Movie Screen by the campfire.  It truly was one of the best experiences!   I HIGHLY recommend everyone do it at least once!
