I love to Resort Hop at Disney World during the Holidays. There is so many beautiful decorations all over the resorts! At of all of them, the Grand Floridian has been my favorite as long as I can remember! They construct a giant gingerbread house they place in the lobby. It is currently built and in place, but does not open until Thursday, November 19 this year. Once open, it will be open daily from 10:00am - 10:00 pm and you can actually purchase GORGEOUS gingerbread houses and cookies from them! This is something I try to do every year!
This is the store front, you walk up to that counter to make your purchases, my kids get a huge kick out of buying an actual gingerbread man from a gingerbread house!
When you walk into the lobby, the smell is heavenly!!!! Its no wonder with all the ingredients they use!
This Saturday (November 21) from 1:00-2:00 pm they are having a Cookbook Signing Event with Executive Pastry Chef, Erich Herbitschek! That is super cool! There will also be a limited edition Pin for sale, and can I just say it kills me I cant make this event! If anyone is there and gets one let me know!
When you go to check out this amazing edible display, make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to check out all the intricate details! It is absolutely stunning to see in person!
