Yesterday (Sunday, October 4) Disney just increased its prices and the way they structured the annual passes.   Now your options are:

DISNEY PLATINUM PLUS PASS  $729.00

• Admission to all 4 main parks, no blackout dates
• Admission to both water parks, no black out dates
• Admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
• Admission to Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course (except events and activities separately priced)
• Park Hopper Feature
• Exclusive Passholder Communications
• Photo Pass Downlowads (this is a new feature)
• Parking
• Special Discounts and Limited Time Offers for Resort Stays, Dining, Merchandise, and more!

DISNEY PLATINUM PASS  $649.00

• Admission to all 4 main parks, no blackout dates
• Park Hopper Feature
• Exclusive Passholder Communications
• Photo Pass Downlowads (this is a new feature)

DISNEY GOLD PASS  $549.00

• FOR FLORIDA RESIDENT AND DISNEY VACATION CLUB MEMBERS ONLY

DISNEY SILVER PASS  $389.00

• FOR FLORIDA RESIDENTS ONLY
• Admission to all 4 main parks, Black Out Dates are Dec 17-Jan 1, March 19-April 1, June 6-August 11.

They do also have options for A Weekday Select Pass (Florida Residents only and lots of black out dates, an Epcot After 4pm Annual Pass, a Water Park Annual Pass, and a Water Park after 2pm Annual pass.   Check out all those prices here

As Florida Residents, they do still have the payment plan!   I know many people who rely on this!   And as I have listed in my Goals Post, I am striving to make the amount by Christmas Eve, but if I can get even close to it, I myself will rely on the payment plan for the rest of my balance due.

Thankfully, the price increase for Disneyland in California is MUCH greater then what we are experiencing at Walt Disney World!   Their top level annual pass is at $1,049!!!   I have seen on some sites that there is a discount for renewals, but I cant find that to verify.   If you are already have a Disney Annual Pass that is up for renewal in the next 60 days, I would definitely call and check on that.

Part of the new price increase is not only to allow the new Photo Pass Download, which I do think is a pretty cool feature, but to cover all the new additions they are making this year!!  The Platinum Plus Pass has the most new features.    There is also talk that the price increase is to help with crowd control, which I do understand, but I think its a huge hit to the people who are Disney's biggest followers and supporters.
