Disney Fan Spotlight: Vlogger JamesChats

My friend, Amanda from the blog, Talk Disney To Me recently showed me a video on Youtube from Vlogger, JamesChats where he was discussing a certain Disney fan controversy/drama in the community and thought he had amazing points and was so well spoken!   So I looked up his channel and had to subscribe right away.  I have truly enjoyed watching his videos!   His girlfriend, who is also a Youtuber (@SoundProofLiz), is often in many of his videos!   Those two are absolutely adorable together!   They have a ton of Disneybounding videos, which I REALLY love and plan on following a lot more!   (If you didnt know, I dream of having a full wardrobe of Disneybound clothes, its actually on my Disney Bucket List!)

HOW DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A VLOGGER?
 I’ve been on YouTube since 2011, but in 2014 I decided to start vlogging. I made a New Years resolution to vlog every day for the entire year to improve my camera presence (as an actor). I had no intention of it going anywhere, but it took off and everything changed after that.




DID YOU KNOW RIGHT AWAY YOU WANTED TO BE A DISNEY VLOGGER?
 I did not know my content would become so Disney centric. In the summer of 2015 my girlfriend and I (she is also a YouTuber) went to Disneyland together for the first time, and we Disneybounded for the first time (Flynn and Rapunzel). We immediately fell in love with the parks and the culture of Disneybounded and didn’t turn back. Very quickly, my content started shifting towards Disney.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST NEW VIDEOS?
I try to post at least once a week, but it can be hard with a full time job.

WHERE DO YOU COME WITH THE IDEAS FOR YOUR VIDEOS?
That’s a hard question to answer, but my channel is really a discussion; I just like sharing my passions.
HOW MANY FOLLOWERS DO YOU HAVE?
 I have approximately 25k subscribers on my main channel.

DO YOU HAVE ANY TOUCHING AND/OR FUNNY STORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE ABOUT  YOUR FOLLOWERS?
Nothing in particular, but it’s really nice when viewers come up to me in the park; knowing that I have created something that connects with them is a special feeling.




WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST POPULAR VIDEO?
My most consistently popular Disney content is definitely my Disneybound videos, but I have a video in which I played Pokemon Go in Disneyland that has about 170k views.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET TO GO TO DISNEY?
 We try to go every weekend, but it’s usually every other weekend.

HOW FAR DO YOU LIVE FROM THE PARKS?
 It’s about a 40 minute drive.
WHICH DISNEY PARK IS YOUR FAVORITE?
Hands down Disneyland, but I haven’t been fortunate enough to visit many others.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU HAVE TO DO EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO INTO THE PARKS?
 Get food. The food is honestly the best part of going to the parks.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY FOOD, SNACK, AND/OR DRINK?
I absolutely love the corndogs. I’m also a big fan of the chicken skewers at Bengal BBQ and the garlic cheesy bread at Murice’s treats/Cones in Cars Land.




DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE DISNEY SOUVENIERS?  
I’m a bit of a Pin collector, but my favorite souvenir would probably be my BB8 mug.
 




WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY MEMORIES?The Force Awakens came out on my birthday, and to celebrate we Disneybounded as Han and Leia, spent the day in Disneyland, and ended the day watching the movie in theatres. It was a magical day, and I will cherish it forever.


WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER AND WHY?
